Page Header and General Functions

At the header of the page the Equipment Description, Reference and Status' are displayed. These elements remain the same regardless of the tab selected. 

Note that some tabs, like Characteristics, will only be displayed where data exists for the object and the object has been included in a Work Order or Notification on the device or has been downloaded directly from SAP. 



To get Google Map driving directions to the displayed FL select the following button. Directions are only shown where the location for the FL has been maintained.

Asset Timeline

Users can see selective information about the assets via a timeline when connected. For more information see: Asset Timeline

Adding and Removing Favorites

Favorites and be added and removed by toggling the following buttons in the lower right footer of objects where favorites is enabled. See Favorites and History for more on this topic

Add Item as Favourite:

Item is Favorite, selecting will remove it from Favorites:

Hamburger Menu

Other functions are accessible from the right-hand button hamburger menu.

Menu options are:

  • Equipment Notifications - Self explanatory
  • Create Notification - see Notifications
  • Equipment Work Orders - Self explanatory
  • Create Field Order - see Create Field Order
  • Enter Measurements - see Create Measurement Document
  • Reports - navigate to a list of reports. This information is also available on the Documents Tab
  • SAP Equipment Display - opens a SAP Web GUI transaction for the Equipment and is only available if enabled in BlueWorx Admin and when the BlueWorx application is used in a SAP Web GUI compatible browser, and when SAP and Network security allows SAP Web GUI access.
  • View Inspection History (when online) - see Inspection Viewer Application
  • Refresh Data - option when online to refresh the data from SAP. Note that for Users that don't have active Standard or Master data profiles that include Classification data, when they initiate the retrieval of Equipment data using the Online Search or the asset record Refresh Data option, the only classification data that will be retrieved are those for Characteristics (and associated Classes) linked to Inspections for that Equipment.

General Tab

The General Tab provides selected information for the Equipment. The information maintained in this section is self explanatory.

Fleet Data Section

If a vehicle is maintained using SAP Fleet functionality for the Equipment, then the Vehicle data is displayed under the Vehicle section.

Linear Data Section

The information maintained in this section is shown where the Equipment is set up in SAP as a linear asset and linear asset is switched on in BlueWorx administration:
