Introduction

This page is used to maintain Inspection Questions into one or more logical groups. These groups are then assigned to one or more Inspections Inspections. The Groups can be used to logically divide the Inspection Questions based on:

  • The physical aspects of what's being inspected - i.e. for a Track you might have the groups: Cab; Powertrain; Wheels and Suspension; Lights and Reflectors; etc
  • The general order of the inspection: i.e. safety and prep; inspection; final sign off
  • Perhaps the various roles undertaken a multi-person inspection (especially where used as a detailed task list): i.e. electrical; mechanical; etc

Important Information

  • Questions can be re-used. This means that they can be included in multiple Question Groups. Logically this means that the same Question can appear more than once in an Inspection, in different Groups. It follows that if you elect to do this then limit such questions to those that don't update SAP and potentially are not involved with Rules unless these are triggered by a single event.
  • Aspects of this page, primarily the rich text editors, are dependent on SAPUI5 releases. The releases are maintained in a Neptune Software SAP table and must correspond to a SAP published release which SAP periodically change. If you have issues with the rich text editor then please see the following article for remediation steps: https://blueworx.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/19000032632
