Summary
This article will cover how a user can user can use the new create equipment functionality in BlueWorx.
Equipment requests list
The list of equipment requests can now be navigated to via a new tile called Equipment Requests on the main page.
This list will show the requests made by the current users, which are in pending status, or have had their status changed in the last 30 days.
Equipment requests detail
The equipment request detail page is where a user will be able to make adjustments to values of an equipment request. These values exclude Functional Location, Superior Equipment and Maintenance Plant.
The user is also able to add text using the via the 'plus' icon. This text is for a conversation with the approver, not the equipment long text.

 | This icon allows users to add text for the approver to read and forms a conversation with the approver. |
 | This icon only appears on equipment requests which are in a pending state and have been synced to SAP. It provides the user with the ability to 'cancel/delete' a request. |
 | This icon only appears on equipment requests that have been rejected by an administrator. Once rejected, if a user believes that the equipment should in fact exist, they can resubmit the request for the administrator to rereview. Selecting this icon will create the long text dialog, prompting the user to give a reason on why they think it should be rereviewed. |
Additional functionality:
A value help on the equipment field is used to set the state of the request to 'Found'. Items in the ourbox will be updated with the found equipment number.
Creating a new equipment request:
The process is started in the structure tab of an equipment or functional location detail screen by clicking the create icon.
Creating via functional location:
When creating a new equipment request via the functional location the equipment is to be located at the current functional location. You will be prompted for the reference equipment.
Creating via equipment:
When creating a new equipment request via the equipment detail page, the user can choose whether they want to create and install the new equipment into the functional location, or the current equipment. The dialog will include an additional selection to choose the install location as the functional location, or as the equipment.
