Recently we got asked why we didn't use the HR Org Chart to maintain the allocation of Crew Members. The reasons that we don't do this are:

• The complexity of the process, roles and time involved in shifting responsibilities in HR Org Charts often don't mirror real time requirements. i.e. a Crew Manager calls in sick and you need to give someone else responsibility for their crew immediately
• Crew, as occurs in real working scenarios, allows multiple personnel to nominally be in charge of the same crew
• Not all SAP customers use HR/ HR mini masters
