The roles required to maintain BlueWorx vary according to what's being undertaken and the skills of available personnel. We have some customers where Zag, or our partners, have implemented with them and other customers who have done it by themselves in-house. This second group generally has high in house expertise in SAP across the Basis, Functional and Technical areas and a good degree of understanding and experience with enterprise mobility.
Some customers ask "can I do things like hiding fields by myself?". The answer is it depends on the individual and the field. For example the Neptune Designer is relatively simple to understand and use, however if you change a field that has code or process dependencies, then you can quickly escalate into needed JavaScript and ABAP programming skills. It's therefore not a place for purely functional people to 'have a go' and in terms of SAP ABAP coding needs an SAP developer key and license.
Let's look at the various events and associated skills, noting that one individual may do multiple tasks:
Implementation Phase Role Summary
