Introduction
This pages explains the use and function of the Measurement Reading Lists functionality.
Business and SAP Context
Measurement Reading Lists is a standard SAP function that allows you to create a simple list of associated Measurement Points for period checks. An example might be to take daily readings on tanks of fluids. Execution can be planned via a Work Order with instruction or just be a daily job initiated outside of SAP.
Important Information
Measurement Points referenced in Measurement Reading List are restricted based on the valid pool of Measurement Points that come to the device from the technical objects selected from the user's profiles.
In addition to that restriction above, if the Administration setting Restrict Measurement Points Data is switched on then the valid pool of Measurement Points will be restricted to those on Order and Notification technical objects. For more on that setting see: https://blueworx.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/19000118144-settings-tab-synchronisation-sync-
