Introduction
From this single screen users can search for Functional Location and Equipment and then displays the asset details
Business and SAP Context
The assets (FL and Equipment) on in the BlueWorx application come from SAP when syncing. They are derived in two ways: firstly they come directly from User Profiles assigned to the User; secondly, if so configured, they come from Orders assigned to the user.
Important Information
Organisations often have extensive asset records in their SAP system. It's not practical nor optimal to take all these records to the BlueWorx application. So in addition to the assets taken on Sync authorised users can Search for Asset when online and download these to their BlueWorx application. For more on this functionality see Search for Assets in SAP.
