Functional Location - Permits Tab

Introduction

This tab shows the SAP work permits applicable to the Functional Location. 

Business and SAP Context

If the Functional Location has permits then:

Notification Creation 

• A warning will be given if the Permit is Category A (Work Approval)

Field Order Creation 

• A warning will be given if the Permit is Category A (Work Approval) and Order Release Type 1 (Warning) 
• The user will be prohibited from creating a Field Order is the Permit is Category A (Work Approval) and Order Release Type 2 (Error)

Important Information

In the interests of safety, BlueWorx does not make any distinction with Order Release Type 2 and the Proposal check On/ Off. That level of control is suited for work planning in SAP. In BlueWorx, any OR Release Type 2 value (as illustrated below for an Equipment record but is the same for FL) will prohibit the creation of a Field Work Order.

This functionality was introduced in Support Pack 7 and can be enabled/ disabled through BlueWorx administration setting.
