Maintain Profiles
Having previously maintained what Base Maps the application can use; what Layers and Layers fields are available (sourced from ESRI ARC GIS) and how these are structured through Groups, this section involves setting up one or more GEO Profiles that can be allocated to Users through their User Profile/s. So, for example, you can define that for one group of Users see a different series of maps and layers than another set of Users.
Prior to SP11 the functionality described on this page was covered under three distinct tabs. In SP11 this has been refactored into a single list with details of the Profile, it's Layers and Base Maps included into the new Profile Details page.
Profile List
Configuration of base maps and layers is controlled at the BlueWorx user level through the assignment of Map Profiles in their BlueWorx profile/s. Its set up is considered self explanatory, here's an example:

Profile Detail Page
The Profile Detail page is where you main the details of the Profile and it's assigned Groups and Base Maps. You can also maintained the assigned Group relationship from the Groups tab.
