BlueWorx Year End Update 2019

BlueWorx Year in Review

It's been another big year for Zag and our BlueWorx Team and for our customers and partners. Before we close off 2019, I thought I'd highlight some of what we’ve been focused on: 

  • We've visited the majority of our customers in person this year. Those visits provided valuable opportunities to understand what's working for our customers, what's not, what their challenges are and how we can make a difference
  • We responded to over 300 support tickets from customers and partners - covering questions, bugs and many suggestions that we incorporated into releases delivered or coming
  • We released a BlueWorx demo application on the Apple and Google Play stores
  • We successfully re-branded from MyPM to BlueWorx
  • We revamped out support site to speed your access to information… and recently added ‘Zaggie’ our site support bot
  • We promoted BlueWorx internationally at conferences in Australasia, North America and Europe. These events provided some valuable insights into customer/ industry needs. We've also increased our focus and representation in North America

Focused on Providing Customer Value

Zag delivered and continues to improve BlueWorx to unleash the potential of SAP Enterprise Asset Management. That's in line with our mission to create innovative solutions that provide customer value. Thanks to feedback from our customers, we know we are helping achieve that value and we will continue to drive for more. 

 

In 2019 we have delivered three major BlueWorx releases with 87 new or improved features, many of those for targeted customer project deadlines. We think that's continued proof that we         are committed to our customers; that we can deliver innovation at an epic pace; and that with SAP and Neptune Software we have a winning technology combination.

2020 - What's Next?

We are currently working on Support Pack 7 with an intended release in March/ April next year. Details of what's in that release and Support Pack 8 will be issued early in the new year. As well as continuing to focus on the user experience and performance, here's the biggest area of innovation we are currently working on:

 

Building on the spatial functionality we already have in BlueWorx, we’re adding the ability to capture and visualise spatial data (point, linear and polygons) for assets, their notifications and orders... all from within your BlueWorx solution. Yes.... that's asset focused spatial functionality for Plant Maintenance from within your SAP ERP 6+ systemWe’re very excited about the potential use cases of this functionality and the benefits it.

All that we do comes from the ongoing support we get from our customers and partners – thank you! From everyone in the Zag BlueWorx Team, we hope you have a great end of year celebration and get to enjoy some relaxation time. The Team are taking a short break over the holiday period from Friday 21st Dec and back on Monday 6th Jan. Looking forward to working with you in 2020.
